No one learns a language with the hope that

everything will remain the same in their life.

Just the opposite. 

When we open a language book,
take a language class,
learn a new alphabet,
what we are really saying is: 

I want to change my life for the better.

What we are really asking of those 
nouns and verbs and new sounds is this: 

Make my world wider.
Bring my dreams closer.
Add more magic to my life.
